Introduced by Ms. Colquirt BILL NO. 8487 ORDINANCE NO. 6265 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10.36 OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY MUNICIPAL CODE, REI.ATING TO REGULATIONS FOR SPECIFIC STREETS, BY REPEALING SECTION 10.36.150 THEREOF, RELATING TO LEFT TLrRNS PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREF. TS AT ALL TIMES OR DURING DESIGNATED HOURS, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 10.36.150 LEFT TURNS PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREETS AT ALL TIMES OR DURING DESIGNATED HOURS," THEREBY AMENDING SAID SECTION SO AS TO ADD A PROHIBITION ON LEFT TURNS TO OLIVE BOULEVARD FROM THE PRIVATE DRIVEWAY AT 6950 OLIVE BOULEVARD; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOI ,l DWS: Section 1. Chapter 10.36 of the University City Municipal Code, relating to regulations for specific streets, is hereby amended by repealing Section 10.36.150 thereof, relating to left turns prohibited on certain streets at all times or during designated hours, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be known as "Section 10.36.150 Left turns prohibited on certain streets at all times or during designated hours;" so that said section, as amended, shall read as follows: 10.36.150 Left turns prohibited on certain streets at all times or during designated hours. It is unlawful for the driver of any vehicle to turn such vehicle to the left on the following streets: Big Bend Boulevard at Northmoor Drive. Northbound vehicles on Big Bend Boulevard at Northmoor Drive. Big Bend Boulevard at Pershing Avenue. Northbound vehicles on Big Bend Boulevard at the intersection with Pershing Avenue between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. and between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on all days except Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays. All vehicles entering Big Bend Boulevard from University Drive between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on all days except Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays. Delmar Boulevard near l-I 70. Northbound vehicles onto Delmar Boulevard from the private road on the south side of Delmar Boulevard, 201 feet east of the 1-170 bridge abutment, between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on all days except Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays.
