AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10.44 OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON SPECIFIC STREETS, BY REPEALING SECTION 10.44.020 THEREOF, RELATING TO PARKING PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREETS DURING DESIGNATED HOURS, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 10.44.020 PARKING PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREETS DURING DESIGNATED HOURS," THEREBY AMENDING SAID SECTION SO AS TO PROHIBIT PARKING DURING DESIGNATED HOURS AT SPECIFIED LOCATIONS ON HARVARD AND TRINITY AVENUES; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Chapter 10.44 of the University City Municipal Code, relating to parking restrictions on specific streets, is hereby amended by repealing Sectionl 0.44.020 thereof, relating to parking prohibited on certain streets during designated hours, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be known as "Section 10.44.020 Parking prohibited on certain streets during designated hours", thereby amending said section so prohibit parking at specified locations on Harvard and Trinity Avenues, except between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday; so that said section, as so amended, shall read as follows: 10.44.020 Parking prohibited on certain streets during designated hours. The following streets or parts of streets are designated as places where parking is prohibited during the time herein set forth within the meaning of the title: Alta Dena Court: On the west side thereof from University Drive to Pershing Avenue between the hours of nine a.m. and eleven a.m. On the east side thereofbet~veen the hours of one p.m. and three p.m. except Saturday, Sunday and holidays. Balson Avenue: On the north side thereof between Jackson Avenue and Hanley Road between the hours of eight a.m. and four p.m. on every day of the week except Saturday, Sunday, and holidays and election days. On both sides thereof from Purdue Avenue to Hanley Road between the hours of three-thirty p.m. and five p.m. on the first Wednesday of the month. On both sides thereof from Purdue Avenue to Midland between the hours of one p.m. and four p.m. on the first Tuesday of the month. Bartmer Avenue: On the north side thereof on Wednesday only and on the south side thereof on Monday only, from Sut~er Avenue to the east city limits: and between Ferguson Avenue and Kingsland Avenue between the hours of nine a.m. and twelve noon. On the north side thereof, on Sunday only, from the west curbline of Sutter Avenue for a distance of eighty-six (86) feet.
