AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10.44 OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON SPECIFIC STREETS, BY REPEALING SECTION 10.44.020 THEREOF, RELATING TO PARKING PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREETS DURING DESIGNATED HOURS, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 10.44.020 PARKING PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREETS DURING DESIGNATED HOURS," THEREBY AMENDING SAID SECTION SO AS TO PROHIBIT PARKING DURING DESIGNATED HOURS AT SPECIFIED LOCATIONS ON MARYLAND AVENUE; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Chapter 10.44 of the University City Municipal Code, relating to parking restrictions on specific streets, is hereby amended by repealing Sectionl 0.44.020 thereof, relating to parking prohibited on certain streets during designated hours, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be known as "Section 10.44.020 Parking prohibited on certain streets during designated hours", thereby amending said section to prohibit parking at specified locations on Maryland Avenue, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday; so that said section, as so amended, shall read as follows: 10.44.020 Parking prohibited on certain streets during designated hours. The following streets or parts of streets are designated as places where parking is prohibited during the time herein set forth within the meaning of the title: Alta Dena Court: On the west side thereof from University Drive to Pershing Avenue between thc hours of nine a.m. and eleven a.m. On the cast side thereof between thc hours of one p.m. and three p.m. except Saturday, Sunday and holidays. Balson Avenue: On thc north side thereof between Jackson Avenue and Hanley Road between the hours of eight a.m. and four p.m. on every day of the week except Saturday, Sunday, and holidays and election days. On both sides thereof from Purdue Avenue to Hanley Road between thc hours of three-thirty p.m. and five p.m. on thc first Wednesday of thc month. On both sides thereof from Purdue Avenue to Midland between thc hours of one p.m. and four p.m. on the first Tuesday of thc month. Bartmer Avenue: On thc north side thereof on Wednesday only and on thc south side thereof on Monday only, from Suttcr Avenue to the east city limits; and between Ferguson Avenue and Kingsland Avenue between thc hours of nine a.m. and twelve noon. On thc north side thereof, on Sunday only, from thc west curblinc of Suttcr Avenue for a distance of eighty-six (86) feet.
