In buildings of Use Group R-2, stairs connecting not more than three stories <br />with not more than four dwelling units per story provided the building is <br />equipped throughout with an approved automatic sprinkler system. <br /> <br />PM-708.2 Enclosure rating: Enclosures connecting not mom than six stories shall have a <br />fire resistance rating of not less than 1 hour with approved opening protectives. Opening <br />protectives shall not be required in buildings of three stories or less in height provided all the <br />occupants of each floor have access f~om each floor to an exit with a fire resistance rated <br />enclosure with approved opening protectives. Enclosures connecting more than six stories <br />shall have a fire resistance rating of not less than 2 hours with approved opening protecfives. <br /> <br /> Section 2. This ordinance shall not be construed so as to relieve any person, firm or <br />corporation from any penalty heretofore incurred by the violation of Chapter 8.28, nor bar the <br />prosecution for any such violation. <br /> <br /> Section 3. Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this ordinance <br />shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to the penalty provided in Chapter 1.12, Section 1.12.010 <br />of the University City Municipal Code. <br /> <br /> Section 4.
