(SECTION PM-107.0 NOTICES AND ORDERS) <br /> <br />PM-107.2 Form: Such notice prescribed in Section PM-107.1 shall be in accordance with <br />all of the following: <br /> <br />Be in writing; <br />Include a description of the real estate sufficient for identification; <br />Include a statement of the violation or violations and why the notice is being <br />issued; and <br />Include a correction order allowing a reasonable time to make the repairs and <br />improvements required to bring the dwelling unit or structure into <br />compliance with the provisions of this code. <br /> <br />PM-107.4 Penalties: Penalties for noncompliance with orders and notices shall be set forth <br />in Section PMo106.2 <br /> <br />(SECTION PM- 108.0 UNSAFE STRUCTURES AND EQUIPMENT <br /> <br />PM- 108.3 Notice: Whenever the code official has condemned a structure or equipment under <br />the provisions of this section, notice shall be posted in a conspicuous place in or about the <br />structure affected by such notice and served on the owner or the person or persons <br />responsible for the structure or equipment in accordance with Section PM-107.3. <br /> <br />(SECTION PM-110.0 DEMOLITION) <br /> <br />PM-110.1 General: Any structure which is found to be detrimental to the health, safety or <br />welfare of the residents of the City of University City and which is declared to be a public <br />nuisance by the code official shall be vacated and demolished or repaired in strict accordance <br />with the provisions of this section. <br /> <br />PM-110.2 Declaration of public nuisance: Any structure found to have any of the <br />following defects shall be deemed to be detrimental to the health, safety or welfare of the <br />residents of the City of University City and shall be declared a public nuisance. <br /> <br />Bearing wall, earth retaining wall, column or other vertical structural member <br />which leans or buckles to such an extent that it is likely to partially or <br />completely collapse and injure the occupants or members of the public. <br /> <br />Floor, roof, wall, structural member or structural connection which is <br />overloaded, has insufficient bearing or which has insufficient strength to be <br />safe for the purpose used so as to be likely to collapse and injure the <br />occupants or members of the public. <br />Part of a structure which is so attached that it is likely to fall and injure the <br />occupants or members of the public. <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br /> <br />
