(dO~~ ORDINANCE NO. ~ AN ORDINANCE VACATIN~ AND SURRENDERING A PORTION OF AN EASEMENT IN ONE MCKNIGHT PLACE, BUT RESERVING ANY PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS, AND DIRECTING THAT THIS ORDINANCE BE RECORDED IN THE OFFICE OF THE RECORDER OF DEEDS OF ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MISSOURI. WHEREAS, there is a portion of an easement dedicated to the City of University City in One McKnight Place, in University City, in St. Louis County, Missouri; and WHEREAS, McKnight Place Assisted Living, L.L.C., the present owner of the land, has requested the vacation of said easement; and WHEREAS, University City is willing to surrender and vacate the easement. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. A portion of the easement dedicated to the City of University City in One McKnight Place, in University City, in St. Louis County, Missouri, and all of University City's right, title and interest therein is hereby vacated, surrendered and quitclaimed, reserving, however all public utility easements; said property is more particularly described as follows: Part of McKnight Place Assisted Living Boundary Adjustment Plat, Lot 3, as recorded in Book 349 Page 380, located in the City of University City, St. Louis, Missouri, being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the southwest comer of Lot 3 of said boundary adjustment plat, with the west line of Lot 3, north 00059'23" east fifty (50.00) feet to the point of beginning of the herein described easement to be vacated; said easement being the south ten (10.00) feet of original Lots 19, 20, and 21 of Barby Lane as recorded in Plat Book 61 Page 30; thence continuing with said west line of Lot 3 north 00o59'23'' east ten (10.00) feet; thence departing said west line, south 89037'42" east two hundred (200.00) feet to a point on the east line of said Lot 21 of Barby Lane; thence with said east line, south 00o59'23'' west ten (10.00) feet to the southeast comer of said Lot 21; thence with the south line of said Lot 21 and its direct prolongation, north 89o37'42'' west two hundred (200.00) feet to the point of beginning of the herein described easement vacation. Section 2. Said easement is further described as shown hachured on the attached Easement Vacation Plat marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof.
