BILL NO. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE COMPENSATION TO BE PAID TO CITY <br />OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES AS ENUMERATED HEREIN FROM AND <br />AFTER JUNE 19, 2002, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 6313 AND <br />CONTAINING AN EMERGENCY CLAUSE. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, <br />MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. From and after June 19, 2002, initially payable July 5, 2002, City employees <br />within the classified service of the City, hereinafter designated, shall receive as compensation for <br />their services such amounts as may be fixed by the City Manager in accordance with the Civil <br />Service Rules and Pay Grade Schedule A, included herein, and not less than the lowest amount and <br />not greater than the highest amount set forth in Schedule B.
