B 3964/1276 ORDINANCE NO. ~2~7~) AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND SURRENDERING THE RIGHT-OF-WAY BETWEEN 7340 AND 7344 NORTHMOOR DRIVE IN THE NORTHMOOR PARK SUBDIVISION, BUT RESERVING ANY PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS, AND DIRECTING THAT THIS ORDINANCE BE RECORDED IN THE OFFICE OF THE RECORDER OF DEEDS OF ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MISSOURI. WHEREAS, Northmoor Drive is a public right-of-way between 7340 and 7344 Northmoor Drive in Northmoor Park Subdivision in University City, in St. Louis County, Missouri; and WHEREAS, due notice of a public hearing, to be held by the City Council in the City Council Chambers at City Hall on May 6, 2002 at 7:30 p.m., to hear any comments concerning the proposed vacation of said right-of-way, was duly published in the St. Louis Countian, a newspaper of general circulation within said City, on May 2, 2002; and WHEREAS, said public hearing was held at the time and place specified in said notice, and all comments concerning the vacation of said fight-of-way were duly heard and considered by the City Council. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The public right-of-way between 7340 and 7344 Northmoor Drive in Northmoor Park Subdivision in University City, in St. Louis County, Missouri, and all of the City of University City's fight, title and interest therein is hereby vacated, surrendered and quitelaimed, reserving, however, all public utility easements, if any; said property is more specifically described as follows: Beginning at the northwest comer of lot 39 block 3 and extending southwardly 160.54 fl. along the west lot line of lot 39 block 3 to the southern city limit, thence westerly 20 fl. along the southern city limit to the southeast comer of lot 41 block 7. Thence northwardly 160.61 fl. along east lot line of lot 41 block 7 to the northeast comer of lot 41 block 7, thence easterly 20 ft. along the south right of way line of Northmoor Drive (50 fl. wide) to the point of beginning; within the Northmoor Park Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 16, pages 26 and 27 of the records of the St. Louis County Recorder of Deeds filed August 16, 1921, and by Ordinance No. 680 dated August 13, 1921. Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to have this ordinance recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of St. Louis County, Missouri.
