Bo <br /> <br />It shall be unlawful for any person not having a parking permit issued pursuant to this <br />chapter to park a vehicle in any parking space without there having been deposited in the <br />parking meter the money to pay the fee imposed by this chapter. If the timing device <br />shows that the time for which the fee is paid has expired, and if a vehicle is parked in a <br />parking space adjacent to such meter, then this shall be pirma facie evidence that the fee <br />required by this chapter for the privilege of parking such a vehicle in such space has not <br />been deposited in the parking meter, unless, however, the vehicle has a parking permit <br />issued under this chapter. Each meter shall designate the type of coin to be deposited. <br /> <br /> Section 2. This ordinance shall not be construed so as to relieve any person, firm or <br />corporation from any penalty heretofore incurred by the violation of Section 10.48.070, nor bar the <br />prosecution for any such violation. <br /> <br /> Section 3. Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this <br />ordinance shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to the penalty provided in Chapter 1, Section <br />1.12.010 of the University City Municipal Code. <br /> <br /> Section 4.
