AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10.44 OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON SPECIFIC STREETS, BY REPEALING SECTION 10.44.010 THEREOF, RELATING TO PARKING PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREETS AT ALL TIMES, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 10.44.010 PARKING PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREETS AT ALL TIMES," THEREBY AMENDING SAID SECTION SO AS TO PROHIBIT PARKING AT ALL TIMES BY COMMERCIAL VEHICLES IN THE ALLEY BETWEEN KINGSBURY BOULEVARD AND PERSHING AVENUE, AND NONCOMMERCIAL VEHICLES IN CERTAIN PARTS OF THE ALLEY; CONTAINING A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Chapter 10.44 of the University City Municipal Code, relating to parking restricti~)ns on specific streets, is hereby amended by repealing Section 10.44.010 thereof, relating to parking prohibited on certain streets at all times, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be known as "Section 10.44.010 Parking prohibited on certain streets at all times "; so that said section, as so amended, shall read as follows: 10.44.010 Parking prohibited on certain streets at all times. The following streets or parts of streets are designated as places where the parking of vehicles is prohibited at all times: Alley between Kingsbury Boulevard and Pershing Avenue: For noncommercial vehicles, from the west sidewalk line at Purdue Avenue to a point fifteen (15) feet west thereof, and from the east sidewalk line at Jackson Avenue to a point fifteen (15) feet east thereof, and within ten (10) feet of any driveway or garage entrance abutting the alley between said points; for commercial vehicles, the entire alley between said sidewalk lines. Alley North of Loop North: Both sides thereof from the first alley east of Kingsland Avenue to Leland Avenue. Appleton Drive: North side from the east curb of Tamerton Avenue eastwardly for a distance of sixty (60) feet. Asbury Avenue: East side thereof between Northrnoor Drive and Forsyth Boulevard. Amherst Avenue: Along the perimeter of the triangular island at the intersection of Midland Boulevard and Pennsylvania Avenue. Bartmer Industrial Drive: Both sides thereof from the driveway servicing 6324 Bartmer Industrial Drive to a point eighty-five (85) feet east of the driveway and to a point eighty-five (85) feet west of the driveway. Big Bend Boulevard: Both sides, from the south city limits to Forsyth Boulevard, and from Lindell Boulevard northwardly to Millbrook Boulevard. Blackberry Place: On the west side thereof from Shaftesbury Avenue to Blackberry Avenue. Bland Drive: West side thereof between Northmoor Drive and Forsyth Boulevard. Burch Lane cul-de-sac: From a point on the west side of the Burch Lane cul-de-sac forty-two (42) feet north of the drive in front of 1169 Butch Lane, extending along the north and east sides of the cul-de-sac to the frontage at 1156 Butch Lane. Canton Avenue: North side thereof between Partridge Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue. Center Drive: Both sides thereof and both sides of the median strip from Gannon Avenue to Amherst Avenue.
