BILL NO. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING AN ADDITIONAL TAX FOR THE <br />UNIVERSITY CITY LOOP SPECIAL BUSINESS DISTRICT SO THAT THE <br />ADDITIONAL TAX ON THE REAL PROPERTY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2003- <br />2004 SHALL BE $.678 FOR RESIDNETIAL AND $.596 FOR COMMERCIAL, <br />PER ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00) OF ASSESSED VALUATION; <br />CONTAINING AN EMERGENCY CLAUSE. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, <br />MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section I. There is hereby levied upon the real property subject to taxation in the <br />University City Loop Special Business District, an additional tax on the real property of said <br />District for the fiscal year 2003-2004 in the amount of $.678 for residential and $.596 for <br />commercial, per ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00) of assessed valuation. <br /> <br /> Section 2. An emergency is hereby declared to exist in that the tax rate must be fixed <br />not later than September I, 2003 pursuant to Section 67. I I 0RSMo. <br /> <br /> Section 3.
