2.66.080 Electrical permit fees. <br /> <br />Electrical Permit Fees Generally. The fee charged for each electrical permit shall <br />be as scheduled below in subsection B of this section. Permit fees are intended to <br />cover the cost of application processing, plan examination, permit issuance, <br />routing inspections, record keeping, and a pro rata shall of overhead costs. The <br />minimum fee charged for each permit shall be twenty-eight dollars and fifty cents <br />($28.50) for minor revisions, additions and repairs that do not include the <br />installation of a new service panel or the installation or repair of more than twenty <br />(20) electrical outlets. Otherwise the minimum fee charged shall be fifty-one <br />dollars and thirty cents ($51.30). <br /> <br />A separate permit is required for each location served by a separate meter, except <br />that a single permit may be issued for a group of twenty (20) or more cable <br />television hookups in a single geographical area. <br /> <br />All permit applications shall be accompanied by a payment of twenty-five (25) <br />percent of the scheduled permit fee, but not less than twenty-eight dollars and <br />fifty cents ($28.50), to cover the cost of processing the application and examining <br />the documents for code compliance. This is considered to be an application fee <br />and shall not be refunded. The remainder of the fee must be paid in full prior to <br />the issuance of the permit. <br /> <br />An additional fee often percent of the scheduled amount, but not less than fifty- <br />seven dollars ($57.00), shall be charged for the issuance of partial permits. <br /> <br />Processing amendments to permits, including related plan review, shall be <br />charged at the rate of thirty-nine dollars and ninety cents ($39.90) per hour or <br />fraction of an hour. This charge may be waived for minor changes in response to <br />an inspection defect notice. <br /> <br />Additional inspections due to defective work or in response to inspections <br />scheduled by the permit holder when work is not ready for inspection shall be <br />charged at the rate of twenty-eight dollars and fifty cents ($28.50) per hour or <br />fraction of an hour. <br /> <br />B. Fee Schedule. <br /> <br />1. Electrical outlets (counting each lighting fixture as one outlet): <br />Each outlet $ 0.57 <br /> <br />2.
