BILL NO. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 34 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE <br />OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, RELATING TO ZONING, BY <br />REPEALING SECTION 34-30.5 (2) AND 34-30.5 (3) THEREOF RELATING <br />TO BUILDING HEIGHT AND SETBACK REGULATIONS IN SINGLE <br />FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF <br />NEW SECTIONS TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 34-30.5 (2) AND 34-30.5 <br />(3)," BY AMENDING SAID SECTIONS SO AS TO OUTLINE SETBACK <br />AND HEIGHT REQUIREMENTS THAT APPLY TO SINGLE-FAMILY <br />DWELLINGS; CONTAINING A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A <br />PENALTY. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, <br />MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting held at City Hall at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday September 25, <br />2002 the University City Plan Commission recommended an amendment of Section 34-30.5 (2) <br />and 34-30.5 (3) of the University City Zoning Code by adding provisions to the setback and <br />height requirements for single-family dwellings; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, due notice of public heatings to be held by the City Council in the City <br />Council Chambers at City Hall at 7:30 p.m. on October 16, 2002 was duly published in the St. <br />Louis Countian, a newspaper of general circulation within said City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said public hearings were held at the time and place sPecified in said notice, <br />and all suggestions or objections concerning said amendment were duly heard and considered by <br />the City Council; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. Chapter 34 of the Municipal Code of the City of University City, <br />Missouri, relating to zoning is hereby amended by repealing Section 34-30.5 (2) and 34-30.5 (3), <br />relating to Setback and Height Regulations for Single Family Dwellings, and enacting in lieu <br />thereof a new section to be known as "Sections 34-30.5 (2) and 34-30.5 (3)," by' amending said <br />section so as to outline setback and height requirements that apply to single-family dwellings, as <br />so amended shall read as follows: <br /> <br />34-30.5 Density and Dimensional Regulations <br />2.
