BILL NO. ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE COMPENSATION TO BE PAID TO THE DIRECTOR OF PARKS, RECREATION AND FORESTRY, AND THE ASSISTANT TO PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGER, FROM AND AFTER OCTOBER 8, 2003, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 6429 TO THE EXTENT INCONSISTENT HEREWITH. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. From and after October 8, 2003, initially payable October 24, 2003, the Director of Parks, Recreation and Forestry shall be compensated according to Pay Grade Code 23C, which shall be as follows: MONTHLY BASE PAY STEP Step A Step B Step C Step D Step E Step F $5,222 $5,483 $5,758 $6,046 $6,349 $6,666 The Director of Parks, Recreation and Forestry shall receive as compensation for his or her services such amount as may be fixed by the City Manager in accordance with the above pay schedule, and not less than the lowest amount nor greater than the highest amount therein. Section 2. From and after October 8, 2003, initially payable October 24, 2003, the Assistant to Public Relations Manager shall be compensated according to Pay Grade P24, which shall be as follows: HOURJ~Y RATES FOR SEASONAL AND PART-TIME EMPLOYEES Step A Step B Step C $9.30 $10.30 $11.30 The Assistant to Public Relations Manager shall receive as compensation for his or her services such amount as may be fixed by the City Manager in accordance with the above pay schedule, and not less than the lowest amount nor greater than the highest amount therein. Section 3. Ordinance No. 6429 is hereby repealed to the extent in conflict herewith. Section 4 This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage as provided by law.
