BILL NO. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />AN ORDrNANCE VACATING AND SURRENDERING THE RIGHT- <br />OF-WAY BETWEEN 1063 ROTH AVENUE AND 6975 OLWE <br />BOULEVARD, BUT RESERVING ANY PUBLIC UTILITY <br />EASEMENTS, AND DIRECTING THAT THIS ORDINANCE BE <br />RECORDED IN THE OFFICE OF THE RECORDER OF DEEDS OF <br />ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MISSOURI. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Roth alley is a public right-of-way between 1063 Roth Avenue and <br />6975 Olive Boulevard in the Roth Grove Subdivision in University City, in St. Louis <br />County, Missouri; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, due notice of a public hearing, to be held by the City Council in the <br />City Council Chambers at City Hall on September 29, 2003, at 7:30 p.m., to hear any <br />comments concerning the proposed vacation of said right-of-way, was duly published in <br />the St. Louis Countian, a newspaper of general circulation within said City, on September <br />19, 2003; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said public hearing was held at the time and place specified in said <br />notice, and all comments concerning the vacation of said right-of-way were duly heard <br />and considered by the City Council. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE cOUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. The public right-of-way between 1063 Roth Avenue and 6975 <br />Olive Boulevard in the Roth Grove Subdivision in University City, in St. LoUis County, <br />Missouri, and' all of the City of University City's right, title and interest therein is hereby <br />vacated, surrendered and quitclaimed, reserving, however, all public utility easements, if <br />any; said property is more specifically described as follows: <br /> <br />The following is a description of a parcel of land that is a 20 feet wide x 114.7 <br />feet long portion of an alley located in block 1 and adjacent to lot 30 of the Roth <br />Grove Subdivision located in the City of University City, St. Louis County <br />Missouri and Recorded in Book 18 on Page 17 of the records of the St. Louis <br />County Recorder of Deeds and more particularly described as follows: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point being the SoUtheast Comer of Lot 30, of Block One, of the <br />above said Roth Grove Subdivision; thence going 114.7 feet westward along the <br />South Lot Line of this Lot 30 to a point being the Southwest Comer of Lot 30; <br />thence turning left 90 degrees and going 20 feet southward to a point; lying on the <br />North Lot Lines of Lots number 1,2,3, and 4 of Block One of the above said Roth <br /> <br />5 <br /> <br /> <br />
