for each additional dog. The provisions of Sections 6,08.030, 6.08.040 <br />.and 6.08.050 applicable to residents shall apply to nonresidents, except for <br />the annual fee imposed on residents. The dog tag issued to the applicant <br />and worn by the dog as required by Sections 6.08.040 and 6.08.050, and <br />this section, shall indicate that the dog is permitted to use the dog play <br />area. The City Manager may limit the number of nonresident dog licenses <br />issued in order to promote the health, safety and welfare of dog play area <br />users and the general public. <br /> <br />The City Manager may enter into an agreement with a person to operate, <br />manage or maintain a dog play area, and compensate such person in an <br />amount not to exceed the total annual license fees paid to the City to use <br />the dog play area. <br /> <br /> Section 2. This ordinance shall not be construed so as to relieve any person, firm <br />or corporation from any penalty heretofore incurred by the violation of Chapter 6.08, <br />Section 6.08.215, nor bar the prosecution for any such violation. <br /> <br /> Section 3. Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this <br />ordinance shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to the penalty provided in Chapter <br />1.12, Section 1.12.010 of the University City Municipal Code. <br /> <br /> Section 4.
