Section 7. The Director of Public Works is authorized to adopt rules and <br />regulations to interpret and implement the provisions of this Ordinance to secure the <br />intent thereof and to promote the public health, welfare, peace and safety. <br /> <br /> Section 8. Resolution No. RES022403A, adopted on February 24, 2003, shall <br />no longer be followed to the extent it conflicts with this Ordinance. <br /> <br />Section 9. Ordinance No. 6212 is hereby repealed. <br /> <br /> Section 10. Nothing contained in this Ordinance shall be construed as abating <br />any action now pending under or by virtue of Ordinance No. 6212; or as discontinuing, <br />abating, modifying or altering any penalty accrued or to accrue, or as affecting the <br />liability of any person, firm or corporation, or as waiving any fight of the City under <br />Ordinance No. 6212 at the time of passage of this Ordinance. <br /> <br /> Section 11.
