AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE COMPENSATION TO BE PAID TO CITY <br />OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES AS ENUMERATED HEREIN FROM AND <br />AFTER JUNE 30, 2004, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NOS. 6429 AND 6454. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, <br />MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. From and after June 30, 2004, initially payable July 16, 2004, City employees <br />within the classified service of the City, hereinafter designated, shall receive as compensation for <br />their services such amounts as may be fixed by the City Manager in accordance with the Civil <br />Service Rules and Pay Grade Schedule A, included herein, and not less than the lowest amount and <br />not greater than the highest amount set forth in Schedule B.
