Within fifteen (15) feet of the driveway entrance to any fire station; <br /> <br />H. Within ten (10) feet of a fire hydrant; <br /> <br />I. In front of a private or public driveway; <br /> <br />J. Across from a private or public driveway on a street or alley less than twenty-one (21) <br /> feet in width; <br /> <br />Ko <br /> <br />On a sidewalk, except at 7401 Delmar, where the director of public works has designated <br />and marked the place as a handicapped parking area and the operator of the vehicle is <br />authorized to park in other handicapped parking areas as provided in Section 10.40.040; <br /> <br />L. Alongside or opposite any street excavation or obstruction when such stopping, standing <br /> or parking would obstruct traffic; <br /> <br />M. On the roadway side of any vehicle stopped or parked at the edge or curb of a street; <br /> <br />N. At any place where official traffic signs have been erected prohibiting standing and <br /> parking; <br /> <br />O. Within fifty (50) feet of the nearest rail of a steam or inter-urban railway crossing; <br /> <br />P. Within six (6) feet of any United States mailbox; <br /> <br />Q. On any unpaved portions of street rights-of-way; <br /> <br />R. In city parks or lawns except in authorized parking areas; <br /> <br />S. In marked and signed areas no greater than fifty (50) feet in advance or any marked and <br /> signed pedestrian crosswalk; <br /> <br /> Section 2. This ordinance shall not be construed so as to relieve any person, firm or <br />corporation from any penalty heretofore incurred by the violation of Section 10.40.020, nor bar <br />the prosecution for any such violation. <br /> <br /> Section 3. Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this <br />ordinance shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to the penalty provided in Chapter 1.12, <br /> <br /> <br />
