BILL NO. ~0 ORDINANCE NO. ~'~3 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10.36 OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO REGULATION FOR SPECIFIC STREETS, BY REPEALING SECTION 10.36.150 THEREOF, RELATING TO LEFT TURNS PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREETS AT ALL TIMES OR DURING DESIGNATED HOURS, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 10.36.150 LEFT TURNS PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREETS AT ALL TIMES OR DURING DESIGNATED HOURS ," THEREBY AMENDING SAID SECTION SO AS TO PROHIBIT THROUGH AND LEFT TURNS BY NORTHBOUND VEHICLES ON THE EAST LEG OF TRINITY AVE. AT DELMAR BLVD. BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 7:00 A.M. AND 9:00 A.M. AND BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 4:00 P.M. AND 6:00 P.M. ON ALL DAYS EXCEPT SATURDAYS, SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS; CONTAINING A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Chapter 10.36 of the University City Municipal Code, relating to regulations for specific streets, is hereby amended by repealing Section 10.36.150 thereof, relating to left tums prohibited on certain streets at all times or during designated hours, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be known as "Section 10.36.150 Left tums prohibited on certain streets at all times or during designated hours," thereby amending said section so as to prohibit left tums by northbound vehicles on the east leg of Trinity Avenue at Delmar Boulevard between the hours of seven a.m. and nine a.m. and between the hours of four p.m. and six p.m. on all days except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays; so that said section, as so amended, shall read as follows: Section 10.36.150 Left tums prohibited on certain streets at all times or during designated hours. It is unlawful for the driver of any vehicle to turn such vehicle to the left on the following streets: Big Bend Boulevard at Northmoor Drive: Northbound vehicles on Big Bend Boulevard at Northmoor Drive. Big Bend Boulevard at Pershing Avenue: Northbound vehicles on Big Bend Boulevard at the intersection with Pershing Avenue between the hours of seven a.m. and nine a.m. and between the hours of four p.m. and seven p.m. on all days except Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays. Big Bend Boulevard at University Drive: All vehicles entering Big Bend Boulevard from University Drive between the hours of seven a.m. and seven p.m. on all days except Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays. Delmar Boulevard near 1-170: Northbound vehicles onto Delmar Boulevard from the private road on the south side of Delmar Boulevard, two hundred one (201) feet east of the I-170 bridge
