' <br /> <br />BILLNO.~ <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />~S30 <br /> <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 34 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF <br />THE CITY OF UNNERSITY CITY, RELATING TO ZONING, BY <br />REPEALING SECTION 34-21 THEREOF RELATING TO ESTABLISHMENT <br />OF ZONING DISTRICTS AND SECTION 34-40THEREOF RELATING TO PD <br />PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICTS, AND ENACTING IN LIEU <br />THEREOF NEW SECTIONS TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 34-21 <br />ESTABLISHMENT OF ZONING DISTRICTS." AND "SECTION 34-40 <br />'PD'PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICTS," BY AMENDING SAID <br />SECTIONS SO AS TO ADD "PD-M" - PLANNED DEVELOPMENT - MIXED <br />USE AS A SUB-DISTRCT; CONTAINING A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND <br />PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, <br />MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting held at City Hall at 6:30 p.m. on , the University City Plan <br />Commission recommended an amendment of Section 34-21 and Section 34-40 of the University <br />City Zoning Code by adding provisions that add "PD-M" - Planned Development - Mixed Use <br />District as a sub-district; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, due notice of public hearings to be held by the City Council in the City <br />Council Chambers at City Hall at 6:30 p.m. on N\~ 1 \ aDO 5 , was duly published <br />in the ~ . ~ ~lU\ , a newspaper of general circulation within said City; and <br />, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said public hearings were held at the time and place specified in said notice, <br />and all suggestions or objections concerning said amendment were duly heard and considered by <br />the City Council; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Chapter 34 of the Municipal Code of the City of University City, Missouri, <br />relating to zoning is hereby amended by repealing Section 34-21 relating to establishment of <br />zoning districts, and Section 34-40 relating to "PD" - Planned Development Districts, and <br />enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be known as "Section 34-21 Establishments of zoning <br />districts." and "Section 34-40 'PD' Planned Development Districts" by amending said sections so <br />as to add "PD-M" - Planned Development - Mixed Use District as a sub-district, as so amended <br />shall read as follows: <br /> <br />K: IWPOFFlCEI WPDA TA 1x-34-21 and 34-40 textamord. wpd <br />
