<br />111.2.5 Compensation of members: Delete in its entirety. <br /> <br />111.3 Filing procedures: All appeals shall be flied in writing with the code official within <br />thirty (30) days after the order, decision or determination is rendered by the code official and <br />shall state the grounds therefore. Appeals must be accompanied by a fee in the amount <br />specified in Section 2.66.40 the University City Municipal Code. <br /> <br />111.4 Membership of board: The Board of Appeals shall consist of seven members <br />appointed by the City Council. Board members shall be appointed for five year terms and <br />serve until a successor has been appointed. <br /> <br />111.4.1 Qualifications of board members: At least three of the members shall each have <br />at least ten (10) years experience as a registered architect, builder, superintendent of building <br />construction or as a registered professional engineer with structural, civil or architectural <br />.. . <br />engmeermg expenence. <br /> <br />111.5 Chairperson: The Board of Appeals shall annually select one of its members to serve <br />as chairperson. <br /> <br />111.6 Notice of meeting: The meeting shall be upon notice from the chairperson, within <br />thirty (30) days of the filing of an appeal, or at stated periodic meetings. <br /> <br />111.6.1 Records and copies: Delete in its entirety. <br /> <br />111.6.2 Administration: Delete in its entirety. <br /> <br />111.7 Board powers: The Board of Appeals may reverse, aff1rm or modify the order, <br />decision or determination of the code off1cial. <br /> <br />111.8 Board decisions: The Board of Appeals shall act by majority vote, and a quorum <br />shall consist of at least five members. The decision of the board of Appeals shall be by <br />resolution, approved by at least three of its members participating in the appeal. <br /> <br />(SECTION 112 PERMIT TO OCCUpy) <br /> <br />112.1 Permit required: It shall be unlawful for any person, owner or agent thereof to <br />occupy or use, or to permit any person to occupy or use any premises for any purpose, <br />including the movement of furniture, equipment or other personal property into said <br />premises, until a permit to occupy has been issued by the code official. The permit so <br />issued shall state that the condition of the premises and its proposed occupation comply <br />with all of the provisions of this code as far as can be determined by a visual inspection <br /> <br />11 <br />
