<br />fences and along foundations shall be maintained free of volunteer growth of trees and <br />shrubs. <br /> <br />302.7.1 Fences: Fences shall be maintained in a good state of repair and shall not be <br />allowed to deteriorate to an unsound or unsightly appearance. Repair shall be made with <br />materials that match the balance ofthe fence. <br /> <br />302.8 Motor vehicles: No wrecked, dilapidated, or derelict motor vehicle, or any motor <br />vehicle which does not meet the safety standards for maintenance and operation as <br />provided under the statutes ofthe State, or any part of such vehicle, shall be stored on the <br />premIses: <br /> <br />Exceptions: <br /> <br />1. Within a fully enclosed building. <br />2. On the premises of a motor vehicle repair facility within the limitations of <br />a duly issued permit for such repair facility. <br /> <br />302.9 Open storage areas: All open salvage yards and open storage areas shall be <br />completely obscured from surrounding property and public areas by a solid screen not <br />less than 6 feet (1828 mm) in height. <br /> <br />(SECTION 303 SWIMMING POOLS, SPAS AND HOT TUBS) <br /> <br />303.2 Enclosures: Private swimming pools, ponds, hot tubs and spas, containing water <br />more than 24 inches (610 rom) in depth shall be completely surrounded by a fence or <br />barrier at least 48 inches (1219 mm) in height above the finished ground level measured <br />on the side of the barrier away from the pool. Gates and doors in such barriers shall be <br />self-closing and self-latching. Where the self-latching device is less than 54 inches (1372 <br />rom) above the bottom of the gate, the release mechanism shall be located on the pool <br />side of the gate. Self-closing and self-latching gates shall be maintained such that the <br />gate will positively close and latch when released from an open position of 6 inches (152 <br />rom) from the gatepost. No existing pool enclosure shall be removed, replaced or <br />changed in a manner that reduces its effectiveness as a safety barrier. <br /> <br />(SECTION 304 EXTERIOR STRUCTURE) <br /> <br />304.3 Building Numbers: The officially designated building numbers shall be displayed <br />in Arabic numerals not less than 4 inches in height on all premises improved with a <br />building, so that such building number is easily observed and readable from the street and <br />from the alley, if an alley adjoins the premises. <br /> <br />Exception: Already existing building numbers in good and visible condition that <br />are 2 1/2 inches minimum in height. <br /> <br />19 <br />
