(b) <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. {r;E94 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE <br />OF 7579-7585 OLIVE BY THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS FOR THE PURCHASE. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, <br />MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Manager, on behalf of the City of University City, is hereby <br />authorized to enter into and execute a contract to purchase real property at 7579-7585 Olive <br />Boulevard, University City, Missouri. The attached "Sale Contract," marked "Exhibit A" and <br />incorporated herein by this reference, is hereby approved. The City Manager is further <br />authorized to sign all documents in connection with the purchase of the property. <br /> <br />Section 2. The expenditure of funds in the amount of $254,000 is hereby authorized <br />for the purchase of said real property, plus a reasonable amount for all inspection fees and <br />customary closing costs or charges.
