LOCATED ADJACENT TO THE EAST BOUNDARY OF BLOCK 1 OF UNIVERSITY HILLS SUBDIVISION AND ADJACENT TO THE WEST BOUNDARY OF BLOCK 2 AND BLOCK 3 OF UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS NO.3 SUBDIVISION, EXTENDING APPROXIMATELY 599.54 FEET NORTHWARD FROM THE KINGSBURY BLVD. (80 FEET WIDE) NORTH RIGHT -OF - WAY LINE TO APPROXIMA TEL Y 280 FEET SOUTH OF THE DELMAR BLVD. (80 FEET WIDE) NORTH RIGHT-OF - WAY LINE; RESERVING ANY PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS; AND DIRECTING THAT THIS ORDINANCE BE RECORDED IN THE OFFICE OF THE RECORDER OF DEEDS OF ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MISSOURI. WHEREAS, the portion of said public street right-of-way is in University City, in St. Louis County, Missouri; and WHEREAS, due notice of a public hearing, to be held by the City Council of the City of University City at Centennial Commons on June 5, 2006, 6:30 p.m., to hear any comments concerning the proposed vacation of the portion of said public street right-of- way, was duly published in the St. Louis Countian, a newspaper of general circulation within said City, on May 31, 2006; and WHEREAS, said public hearing was held at the time and place specified in said notice, and all comments concerning the vacation of the portion of said public street right-of-way were duly heard and considered by the City Council. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The 30-foot wide by 599.54-foot long portion of said public street right- of-way is located on the west side adjacent to the east property lines of 516, 522, 536, and 542 Overhill Drive, and the east property line of 7201 Kingsbury Blvd., and on the east side by the west boundary line of University Heights Subdivision in the City of University City in St. Louis County, Missouri, and all of the City of University City's right, title and interest therein are hereby vacated, surrendered and quitclaimed, reserving, however, all public utility easements, if any. This portion of said public street right-of- way is more specifically described as follows: Beginning at the northeast comer of Lot 4 of Block 1 of the University Hills Subdivision, a subdivision located within University City and as recorded in Book 18, on Page 22 of the records of the St .Louis County Recorder of Deeds, then going 30 feet east along the prolongation of the North Lot Line of said Lot 4 to a point, then going 599.58 feet
