<br />AN ORDINANCE V ACA TING AND SURRENDERING TWELVE FEET WIDE
<br />EAST/WEST PUBLIC ALLEY RIGHT -OF - WAY LOCATED WITHIN BLOCK 2
<br />OF THE RICHARDSON'S WASHINGTON PARK SUBDIVISION SOUTH OF
<br />THE 7500 BLOCK OF AHERN AVE. AND NORTH OF THE 7500 BLOCK OF
<br />DREXELL AVE. RESERVING ANY PUBLIC EASEMENTS, AND DIRECTING
<br />THAT THIS ORDINANCE BE RECORDED IN THE OFFICE OF THE
<br />RECORDER OF DEEDS OF ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MISSOURI.
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, The above said east/west public alley right-of-way is within the
<br />Richardson's Washington Park Subdivision in University City, in St. Louis County,
<br />Missouri; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, due notice of public hearing to be held by the City of University City
<br />council Chambers at City Hall on June 5, 2006, at 6:30 p.m., to hear any comments
<br />concerning the proposed vacation of above said east/west public alley right-of-way was
<br />duly published in the St. Louis Countian, a newspaper of general circulation within said
<br />City, on May 30, 2006.
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said public hearing was held at the time and place specified in said
<br />notices, and all comments concerning the vacation of the above said east/west public
<br />alley right-of-way was duly heard and considered by the City Council.
<br />
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
<br />
<br />Section 1. The portion of above said east/west public alley right-of-way is located
<br />adjacent to the south property line of 7510,7514, 7518,7520, 7522, 7526,7530,7536,
<br />7542, 7546, 7550, 7558, 7560, 7564, 7568 Ahem Ave. and the north property line of
<br />7515, 7519, 7523, 7527, 7531, 7535, 7539, 7543, 7547, 7549, 7551, 7557, 7561, 7565,
<br />7567, 7571, 7575 Drexell Ave. and located within the City of University City in St. Louis
<br />County, Missouri, and all of the City of University City's right, title and therein hereby
<br />vacated, surrendered and quitclaimed, reserving, however, all public utility easement, if
<br />any; in the above said public alley right-of-way being vacated is are more specifically
<br />described as follows:

<br />Beginning at the southeast comer of Lot 52 of Block 2 of the Richard's Washington Park
<br />Subdivision as recorded in Book 9 on Page 10 of the records of the Office ofthe
<br />Recorder of Deeds ofSt. Louis County, Missouri and then going 766.375 feet westward
<br />along a line being the South Lot Lines of Lots 52, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59,60,
<br />61,62,63,64,6566,67 ,68 69, 70, 71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79 ,80, 81, 82. of the
