<br />INTRODUCED BY: Byron Price <br /> <br />DATE: August 28,2006 <br /> <br />BILL NO. 8905 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 6665 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING AN ADDITIONAL TAX FOR THE <br />PARKVIEW GARDENS SPECIAL BUSINESS DISTRICT SO THAT THE <br />ADDITIONAL TAX ON THE REAL PROPERTY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2006- <br />2007 SHALL BE $.85 FOR RESIDENTIAL AND $.85 FOR COMMERCIAL PER <br />ONE HUNDRED ($100.00) OF ASSESSED VALUATION; AND CONTAINING <br />AN EMERGENCY CLAUSE. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, <br />MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. There is hereby levied upon the real property subject to taxation in the <br />Parkview Gardens Special Business District, an additional tax on the real property of said <br />District for the fiscal year 2006-2007 in the amount of $.85 for residential and $.85 for <br />commercial per ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00) of assessed valuation. <br /> <br />Section 2. An emergency is hereby declared to exist in that the tax rate must be fixed not <br />later than September 1, 2006 pursuant to Section 67.110 RSMo. <br /> <br />Section 3.
