<br />AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND SURRENDERING A PART OF THE RIGHT-
<br />OF-WAY OF BARBY LANE, BUT RESERVING ANY PUBLIC UTILITY
<br />EASEMENTS, AND DIRECTING THAT THIS ORDINANCE BE RECORDED IN
<br />THE OFFICE OF THE RECORDER OF DEEDS OF ST. LOUIS COUNTY,
<br />MISSOURI.
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, Barby Lane is a public street in University City, in St. Louis
<br />County, Missouri; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, due notice of a public hearing on the vacation of part of said
<br />public street, to be held by the City Council of the City of University City in the
<br />City Council Chambers at City Hall on May 21,2007, at 6:30 p.m., was duly
<br />published in the St. Louis Countian, a newspaper of general circulation within
<br />said City, on May 4, 2007; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said public hearing was held at the time and place specified
<br />in said notice, and all suggestions or objections concerning said vacation were
<br />duly heard and considered by the City Council.
<br />
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
<br />CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
<br />
<br />Section 1. A part of the right-of-way of Barby Lane in University City, in
<br />St. Louis County, Missouri, and all of University City's right, title and interest
<br />therein is hereby vacated, surrendered and quitclaimed, reserving, however, all
<br />public utility easements, if any; said property is more specifically described as
<br />follows:

<br />BOOK 61, PAGE 30 OF THE ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MISSOURI RECORDS, IN
<br />SECTION 8, TOWNSHIP 45 NORTH, RANGE 6 EAST, UNIVERSITY CITY, ST.
<br />LOUIS COUNTY, MISSOURI AND BEING MORE PARTICULARY DESCRIBED
