INTRODUCED BY: Mr. Sharpe, Jr. DATE: September 24, 2007 BILL NO. 8955 ORDINANCE NO. 6709 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A FINAL SUBDIVISION PLAT OF A TRACT OF LAND TO BE KNOWN AS "THE GATESWORTH SECOND ADDITION" AND LOCATED AT 1 AND 3 MCKNIGHT PLACE AND CONTAINING AN EMERGENCY CLAUSE. WHEREAS, on July 31,2007, Charles Deutsch and Company submitted for approval a final subdivision plat of a tract of land to be known as "The Gatesworth Second Addition" located at 1 and 3 McKnight Place, University City, Missouri; and WHEREAS, at its meeting on April 25, 2007, the University City Plan Commission approved a preliminary subdivision plat of said land; and WHEREAS, at its meeting on August 22, 2007, the University City Plan Commission reviewed the final subdivision plat, determined that the final plat is in substantial compliance with the approved preliminary plat, and recommended to the City Council of University City approval of the final plat; and WHEREAS, the final subdivision plat application, including all required documents and information submitted therewith, is before the City Council for its consideration. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Attached, marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof is a final subdivision plat of a tract of land to be known as "The Gatesworth Second Addition" and located at 1 and 3 McKnight Place, University City, S1. Louis County, Missouri. The final subdivision plat consolidates all of the previous single family parcels and the vacated street portions of West Kingsbury and Barby Lane. Section 2. It is hereby found and determined that the final subdivision plat is in full compliance with the University City Municipal Code, including Section 16.12.240 thereof. Accordingly, the final subdivision plat marked Exhibit "A" is hereby approved. Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to endorse upon the final subdivision plat the approval of the City Council under the hand of the City Clerk and the seal of University City. Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage as provided by law.
