<br />INTRODUCED BY: Mr. Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />DATE: January 15, 2008 <br /> <br />BILL NO. <br /> <br />8977 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 6730 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10.36 OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY <br />MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO REGULATIONS FOR SPECIFIC STREETS, <br />BY REPEALING SECTION 10.36.030 THEREOF, RELATING TO ONE-WAY <br />STREET DESIGNATED, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION <br />TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 10.36.030 ONE-WAY STREETS DESIGNATED," <br />THEREBY AMENDING SAID SECTION SO AS DESIGNATION OF WESTGATE <br />AVE TO BE ONE-WAY STREET SOUTHBOUND FROM OLIVE BLVD. TO <br />NORTH AVE; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A <br />PENAL TY. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE City of University City, <br />MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Chapter 10.36 of the University City Municipal Code, relating to <br />designation of One-way street, is hereby amended by repealing Section <br />10.36.030 thereof, relating to One-way streets designated, and enacting in lieu <br />thereof a new section to be known as "Section 10.36.030 One-way streets <br />designated.," thereby amending said section so as designation of Westgate Ave <br />to be One-way street southbound from Olive Blvd. to North Ave.; so that said <br />section, as so amended, shall read as follows: <br /> <br />10.36.030 One-way streets designated. <br /> <br />The following streets or parts of streets are hereby designated as one-way <br />streets, and traffic shall move only in the direction indicated on such streets or <br />parts of streets: <br />Balson Avenue: From Warder Avenue to Wilner Avenue, traffic in the north lane <br />shall move in a westbound direction only. From Warder Avenue to Wilner <br />Avenue, traffic in the south lane shall move in an eastbound direction only. <br />Bartmer Avenue: In the 6700 block, traffic shall move in a westbound direction <br />only. <br />Bland Drive: From Northmoor Drive to Forsyth Boulevard, traffic shall move in a <br />northbound direction only. <br />Cabanne Avenue: From its "Y" intersection with North Drive to Eastgate Avenue, <br />traffic shall move in an eastbound direction only. <br />Cates Avenue: From Westgate Avenue to Eastgate Avenue, traffic shall move in <br />an eastbound direction only. <br />Chamberlain Avenue: In the 6700 block, traffic shall move in an eastbound <br />
