<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> (CHAPTER 1 ADMINISTRATION) <br /> (SECTION 101 GENERAL) <br /> <br /> 101.1 Title. This code shall be known as the Energy Conservation Code of the City of University <br /> City, Missouri. It is referred to herein as "this code". <br /> <br /> 101.2 Scope. This code applies to all residential and commercial buildings. <br /> Exception: Detached one- and two-family dwellings and multiple single-family dwellings <br /> (townhouses) not more than three stories above grade plane in height with a separate means of <br /> egress and their accessory structures shall comply with the Residential Code of University City. <br /> <br /> 101.90 Enforcement agency. The term "building official" shall be construed to mean the <br /> building commissioner of the City of University City, Missouri or the duly authorized <br /> representative of the building commissioner. <br /> <br /> (SECTION 105 INSPECTIONS) <br /> <br /> 105.90 Third-party inspections. All third-party inspections shall be in accordance with Section <br /> 109.4.90 of the Building Code of University City. <br /> <br /> (SECTION 190 MEANS OF APPEAL) <br /> <br /> 190.1 General. University City Building Code Section 112 shall be applicable for all appeals <br /> involving this code. <br /> <br /> <br /> Section 2. This ordinance shall not be construed so as to relieve any person, firm or <br /> corporation from any penalty heretofore incurred by the violation of Chapter 15.02, nor bar the <br /> prosecution for any such violation. <br /> <br /> Section 3. Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this <br /> ordinance shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to the penalty provided in Chapter 1. 12, <br /> Section 1.12.010 of the University City Municipal Code. <br /> <br /> Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage <br /> as provided by law. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> 2 <br />
