<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> (CHAPTER 1 ADMINISTRATION) <br /> <br /> (SECTION 101 GENERAL) <br /> <br /> 101.1 Title. These regulations shall be known as the Fuel Gas Code of the City of University <br /> City, Missouri, referred to hereinafter as "this code". <br /> <br /> (SECTION 103 DEPARTMENT OF INSPECTION) <br /> 103.1 General. The term "department of inspection" whenever employed herein shall be <br /> construed to mean the Department of Community Development of the City of University City, <br /> Missouri. The term "code official" shall be construed to mean the building commissioner of the <br /> City of University City, Missouri or the duly authorized representative of the building <br /> commissioner. <br /> <br /> (SECTION 106 PERMITS) <br /> <br /> 106.5.2 Fee schedule. The fees for work shall be as specified in Chapter 2.66 of the University <br /> City Municipal Code. <br /> <br /> 106.5.3 Fee refunds. The code official is authorized to establish a refund policy. <br /> <br /> 106.90 Qualifications of contractors and workers. The code official shall not be required to <br /> issue a permit unless the contractor and workers are qualified to carry out the proposed work in <br /> accordance with the requirements of this code. Refusal or inability to comply with code <br /> requirements on other work shall be considered as evidence of lack of such qualifications. <br /> <br /> (SECTION 107 INSPECTIONS AND TESTING) <br /> <br /> 107.1.2.90 Third-party inspections. All third-party inspections shall be in accordance with <br /> Section 109.4.90 of the Building Code of University City. <br /> <br /> 107.90 Extra inspections. In addition to the inspections normally provided, the code official <br /> shall require that additional inspections or reinspections be conducted due to noncompliance with <br /> code requirements or due to work which is not ready for inspection or not accessible for <br /> inspection at the time of a scheduled inspection. Fees for such additional inspections shall be <br /> assessed and paid prior to scheduling the next inspection. <br /> <br /> (SECTION 108 VIOLATIONS) <br /> <br /> 108.4 Violation penalties. Persons who shall violate a provision of this code or shall fail to <br /> comply with any of the requirements thereof or who shall erect, install, alter or repair mechanical <br /> work in violation of the approved construction documents or directive of the code official, or of a <br /> permit or certificate issued under the provision of this code, shall be guilty of an ordinance <br /> <br /> 2 <br />
