<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> 302.8 Motor vehicles. No wrecked, dilapidated, or derelict motor vehicle, or any motor vehicle <br /> which does not meet the safety standards for maintenance and operation as provided under the <br /> statutes of the State, or any part of such vehicle, shall be stored on the premises: <br /> Exceptions: <br /> 1. Within a fully enclosed building. <br /> 2. On the premises of a motor vehicle repair facility within the limitations of a duly issued permit <br /> for such repair facility. <br /> <br /> 302.90 Open commercial storage areas. All open salvage yards and open storage areas shall be <br /> completely obscured from surrounding property and public areas by a solid screen not less than 6 <br /> feet (1828 mm) in height. <br /> <br /> 302.91 Exterior storage. No items shall be stored outside without approved protection from <br /> elements unless the item is designed to be stored in direct contact with the elements. All exterior <br /> items shall be kept in a tidy manner. <br /> <br /> 302.92 Temporary storage containers. Temporary exterior containers such as dumpsters and <br /> portable storage containers used for moving shall not be a public nuisance. <br /> 302.92.1 Dumpsters. Dumpsters placed on private property shall be regularly and/or promptly <br /> serviced; maintained free of garbage and water; shall not be filled to the point of overflow; and <br /> shall not be placed on the property for more than 60 days without the approval of the code <br /> official. Violators of this provision, or when it is determined by the code official that the <br /> dumpster is a public nuisance, shall be warned either verbally or by posting notice on the <br /> property in a conspicuous place. If the violations is not corrected in a timely manner (no more <br /> than 3 days), the code official may contact the waste disposal company and have the dumpster <br /> emptied or removed. <br /> <br /> 302.92.2 Portable storage containers. Portable storage containers (such as PODS, roll-away, <br /> etc.) shall be maintained in a tidy manner and are to be short-term in nature. Containers shall not <br /> be placed on private property for more than one week unless specifically approved by the code <br /> official. <br /> <br /> (SECTION 303 SWIMMING POOLS, SPAS AND HOT TUBS) <br /> <br /> 303.2 Enclosures. Private swimming pools, ponds, hot tubs and spas, containing water more <br /> than 24 inches (610 mm) in depth shall be completely surrounded by a fence or barrier at least 48 <br /> inches (1219 mm) in height above the finished ground level measured on the side of the barrier <br /> away from the pool. Gates and doors in such barriers shall be self-closing and self-latching. <br /> Where the self-latching device is less than 54 inches (1372 mm) above the bottom of the gate, <br /> the release mechanism shall be located on the pool side of the gate. Self-closing and self-latching <br /> gates shall be maintained such that the gate will positively close and latch when released from an <br /> open position of 6 inches (152 mm) from the gatepost. No existing pool enclosure shall be <br /> removed, replaced or changed in a manner that reduces its effectiveness as a safety barrier. <br /> Exception: Spas or hot tubs with a safety cover that complies with ASTM F 1346 shall be <br /> exempt from the provisions of this section. <br /> <br /> <br /> 18 <br />
