<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> INTRODUCED BY: Mr. Glickert DATE: March 22, 2010 <br /> <br /> <br /> BILL NO. 9063 ORDINANCE NO. 6806 <br /> <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10.36 OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY <br /> MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO REGULATIONS FOR SPECIFIC STREETS, BY <br /> REPEALING SECTION 10.36.090 THEREOF, RELATING TO STOP INTERSECTIONS <br /> - VEHICLES TO STOP AT CERTAIN INTERSECTIONS, AND ENACTING IN LIEU <br /> THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 10.36.090 STOP <br /> INTERSECTIONS - VEHICLES TO STOP AT CERTAIN INTERSECTIONS" THEREBY <br /> AMENDING SAID SECTION SO AS FOR TRAFFIC ON KINGSLAND AVE TO STOP <br /> AT WASHINGTON AVE; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A <br /> PENALTY. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE City of University City, MISSOURI, AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. Chapter 10.36 of the University City Municipal Code, relating to Stop intersections - <br /> Vehicles to stop at certain intersections, is hereby amended by repealing Section 10.36.090 <br /> thereof, relating to Stop intersections -Vehicles to stop at certain intersections, and enacting in <br /> lieu thereof a new section to be known as "Section 10.36.090 Stop intersections -Vehicles to stop <br /> at certain intersections," thereby amending said section so as for traffic to stop at intersection of <br /> Kingsland Ave and Washington Ave; so that said section, as so amended, shall read as follows: <br /> 10.36.090 Stop intersections-Vehicles to stop at certain intersections. <br /> <br /> The following street intersections are designated as stop intersections for certain entrances thereto <br /> within the meaning of this title. Every operator of a vehicle or other conveyance proceeding on <br /> streets listed in the lefthand column below shall stop such vehicles or other conveyance before <br /> entering or crossing the street opposite in the righthand column below: <br /> Ahern Avenue Groby Road <br /> Ahern Avenue Mt.
