INTRODUCED BY: Mr. Crow DATE: May 3, 2010 <br /> BILL NO. 9073 ORDINANCE NO. 6815-A <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10.44 OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY MUNICIPAL <br /> 3 CODE, RELATING TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS FOR SPECIFIC STREETS, BY <br /> REPEALING SECTION 10.44.010 THEREOF, RELATING TO PARKING PROHIBITED ON I <br /> CERTAIN STREETS AT ALL TIMES, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW <br /> SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 10.44.010 PARKING PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN <br /> STREETS AT ALL TIMES," THEREBY AMENDING SAID SECTION SO AS TO RESTRICT <br /> PARKING AT ALL TIMES ON THE NORTH SIDE OF LOOP SOUTH THEREOF FROM <br /> KINGSLAND AVE. TO A POINT TWO HUNDRED AND EIGHT (208) FEET EAST, AND <br /> FROM LELAND TO A POINT THREE HUNDRED AND THIRTY (330) FEET WEST. <br /> THEREOF; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE City of University City, MISSOURI, AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. Chapter 10.44 of the University City Municipal Code, relating to parking restrictions <br /> on specific streets, is hereby amended by repealing Section 10.44.010 thereof, relating to parking <br /> prohibited on certain streets at all times, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be known as <br /> "Section 10.44.010 Parking prohibited on certain streets at all times," thereby amending said section <br /> so as to restrict parking at all times on the north side of Loop South thereof from Kingsland Ave to a <br /> point two hundred and eight (208) feet east, and from Leland to a point three hundred and thirty (330) <br /> feet west thereof; so that said section, as so amended, shall read as follows: <br /> f <br /> 10.44.010 Parking prohibited on certain streets at all times. <br /> The following streets or parts of streets are designated as places where the parking of vehicles is <br /> prohibited at all times: <br /> Alley between Kingsbury Boulevard and Pershing Avenue: For noncommercial vehicles, from the west <br /> sidewalk line at Purdue Avenue to a point fifteen (15) feet west thereof, and from the east sidewalk ' <br /> line at Jackson Avenue to a point fifteen (15) feet east thereof. <br /> Alley North of Loop North: Both sides thereof from the first alley east of Kingsland Avenue to Leland ` <br /> Avenue. <br /> Appleton Drive: North side from the east curb of Tamerton Avenue eastwardly for a distance of sixty <br /> (60) feet. <br /> Asbury Avenue: East side thereof between Northmoor Drive and Forsyth Boulevard. West side I <br /> thereof between Forsyth Boulevard and Lindell Boulevard. <br /> Amherst Avenue: Along the perimeter of the triangular island at the intersection of Midland Boulevard <br /> and Pennsylvania Avenue. <br /> Bartmer Industrial Drive: Both sides thereof from the driveway servicing 6324 Bartmer Industrial Drive <br /> to a point eighty-five (85) feet east of the driveway and to a point eighty-five (85) feet west of the <br /> driveway. <br /> Bartmer Industrial Avenue: For a distance of thirty (30) feet on both sides of the south entrance <br /> located between the 6400 and 6500 block of Bartmer Industrial Avenue. <br /> x <br />
