BILL NO. 9152 ORDINANCE NO. 6885 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 10.44.010 OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS FOR SPECIFIC ` STREETS, BY ALLOWING PARKING ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF LOOP SOUTH AS PROVIDED HEREIN. _ BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE City of University City, MISSOURI, AS z FOLLOWS: t Section 1. Section 10.44.010, Parking Prohibited on Certain Streets at All Times, of Chapter 10.44, Parking Restrictions on Specific Streets, of the University City Municipal Code is hereby amended to allow previously prohibited parking on "Loop South". The Loop south parking restriction is accordingly revised by deleting the following language: Loop South: Both sides from Melville Avenue to a point ninety (90) feet west. And to substitute in lieu thereof the following language, so that said restriction, as so amended, shall read as follows: { Loop South: North side from Melville Avenue to Leland Avenue. North side from the east curb line on Kingsland Avenue to a point two hundred and eight (208) feet to the east, and from the west curb line on Leland Avenue to a point three hundred and thirty (330) feet to the west. Other than the revisions specifically noted, Section 10.44.010 shall remain unchanged and in full force and effect. t 4> Section 2. This ordinance shall not be construed so as to relieve any person, firm or corporation from any y penalty heretofore incurred by the violation of Chapter 10.44, Section 10.44.010, nor bar the prosecution for any such violation. Section 3. Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this z ordinance shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to the penalty provided in Chapter 1.12, section 1.12.010 of the University City Municipal Code. Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage as provided by law. t
