fi <br /> INTRODUCED BY Mr. Glickert DATE: August 13, 2012 <br /> BILL NO 9160 ORDINANCE NO 6893 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 10.36.090, STOP INTERSECTIONS — <br /> VEHICLES TO STOP AT CERTAIN INTERSECTIONS, OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY <br /> MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING THE FULLERTON AVENUE AND KEMPLAND <br /> PLACE INTERSECTION AND BY DELETING THE MILAN AVENUE AND 78TH <br /> STREET INTERSECTION. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE City of University City, MISSOURI, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1 <br /> Section 1. Section 10.36.090, Stop Intersections — Vehicles To Stop At Certain <br /> Intersections, of the University City Municipal Code is hereby amended by adding the <br /> stop intersection of Fullerton Avenue and Kempland Place and by deleting the stop <br /> intersection of Milan Avenue and 78th Street as Stop intersection, which such <br /> amendment shall be effected exclusively by revising the list included in Section <br /> 10.36.090 as provided herein (addition emphasized and deletion strikethrough). <br /> 10.36.090 Stop intersections—Vehicles to stop at certain intersections. <br /> The following street intersections are designated as stop intersections for certain <br /> entrances thereto within the meaning of this title. Every operator of a vehicle or <br /> other conveyance proceeding on streets listed in the lefthand column below shall <br /> stop such vehicles or other conveyance before entering or crossing the street <br /> opposite in the righthand column below: <br /> Fullerton Avenue Kempland Place <br /> Section 2. This ordinance shall not be construed so as to relieve any person, firm or <br /> corporation from any penalty heretofore incurred by the violation of Chapter 10.36, <br /> Section 10.36.090, nor bar the prosecution for any such violation. <br /> Section 3. Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this <br /> ordinance shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to the penalty provided in Chapter <br /> 1.12, section 1.12.010 of the University City Municipal Code. <br /> Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage as <br /> provided by law. <br /> PASSED THIS 27th day of August, 2012. <br />
