INTRODUCED BY: Mr. Glickert DATE: October 22, 2012 <br /> BILL NO. 9167 ORDINANCE NO. 6900 <br /> AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION OF CERTAIN PERMANENT <br /> RIGHT OF WAY EASEMENTS FROM THE SCHOOL DISTRICT OF <br /> UNIVERSITY CITY REGARDING PROPERTY LOCATED AT 7358 BALSON <br /> AVENUE, 7400 BALSON AVENUE, AND LOT 24 OF CENTRAL SUBURBS, <br /> LOCATED IN THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI. <br /> } <br /> WHEREAS, the City is constructing certain roadway improvements commonly <br /> known as the Jackson Avenue Pedestrian Signal Replacement Project("Project"); and <br /> WHEREAS, while drafting the Project plans,the City learned that the School <br /> District of University City ("School District") was the owner of certain real estate needed <br /> to construct the Project; <br /> WHEREAS, the School District has agreed to dedicate to the City the right of <br /> way easements necessary for the Project; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council must accept the easements to effect the transfer; <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI,AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. The City Council accepts the dedication of a Permanent Right of Way <br /> Easement from the School District of University City regarding property located at 7358 <br /> Balson Avenue, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein. <br /> Section 2. The City Council accepts the dedication of a Permanent Right of Way <br /> Easement from the School District of University City regarding property located at 7400 <br /> Balson Avenue, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit B and incorporated herein. <br /> Section 3. The City Council accepts the dedication of a Permanent Right of Way <br /> Easement from the School District of University City regarding property located at Lot <br /> 24 of Central Suburbs, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit C and incorporated <br /> herein. <br /> Section 4.
