LOUIS COUNTY EMERGENCY <br /> COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION (ECC) FOR SUBSCRIBER RADIOS <br /> INTEROPERABLE RADIO SYSTEM. <br /> WHEREAS, ECC has entered into a contract with Motorola solutions, Inc. to design, deliver, <br /> install, test and maintain a county-wide emergency communications radio system and associated <br /> t <br /> commercial items, commercial computer software, radios and other equipment, subsystems and t` <br /> services; and <br /> WHEREAS, ECC intent to provide radios to the University City Police Department to <br /> enhance its ability to communicate for both routine and emergency operations and to permit the <br /> University city Police Department to use said equipment subject to the rules, regulations, policies and <br /> standards established by the ECC; and <br /> WHEREAS, this ordinance will authorize the University City Police Department to enter into <br /> this contract with the ECC and the ECC is authorized to enter into this contract by St. Louis County <br /> Ordinance 25,154. <br /> I <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br /> UNIVERSITY CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> { <br /> Section 1: The City Manager of the City of University City, on behalf of the City, is hereby <br /> authorized to execute a contract with the St. Louis County Emergency Communications Commission, <br /> attached hereto and incorporation herein, marked Exhibit "A", for subscriber radios interoperable <br /> radio system. i <br /> Section 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and <br /> approval. <br /> PASSED THIS 8th day of April, 2013. t` <br /> . <br /> 1 • ll , 0 , ) .--' _ '.... .. <br /> .....„. , , <br /> , .„ . , <br /> MAYOR t <br /> <i <br /> ,t,• <br /> 1 <br />
