INTRODUCED BY Mr. Price DATE: August 12, 2013 <br /> BILL NO 9190 ORDINANCE NO 6921 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING VARIOUS SECTIONS OF TITLE 10, VEHICLES AND <br /> TRAFFIC, TO REVISE TRAFFIC REGULATION AS PROVIDED HEREIN <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE City of University City, MISSOURI, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. Section 10.36.190 of Title 10, Vehicles and Traffic, of the University City <br /> Municipal Code is amended as provided herein. Language to be added to the Code is <br /> emphasized. This Ordinance contemplates no revisions to the Code other than those so <br /> designated; any language or provisions from the Code omitted from this Ordinance is <br /> represented by an ellipsis and remains in full force and effect. <br /> Section 2. Section 10.36.190 of the University City Municipal Code is hereby amended <br /> to add a section of Mt. Olive Avenue —Ahern Avenue —Wilshire Avenue to the Through <br /> traffic prohibited on certain streets at all times or during designated hours section, as <br /> follows: <br /> 10.36.190 - Through traffic prohibited on certain streets at all times or during hours. <br /> A. Through traffic is prohibited during the hours of seven a.m. to nine a.m. and three- <br /> thirty p.m. to six p.m. Monday through Friday, between Olive Boulevard and Etzel <br /> Avenue, on Bartmer, Colby and Purcell Avenues. F <br /> B. Through traffic is prohibited during the hours of seven a.m. to nine a.m. and four p.m. <br /> to six p.m. every day of the week, on Mt. Olive Avenue between Groby Rd to Ahern <br /> Avenue; Ahern Ave between Mt. Olive Avenue and North and South Rd and Wilshire <br /> Avenue/Shaftesbury Ave between Ahern Ave and North and South Rd. <br /> C. Through traffic is prohibited at all times on <br /> *Arcadia Street between Pennsylvania and Partridge Avenues, <br /> *Liberty Avenue between Hanley Avenue and the North City Limits, and <br /> *Northmoor Drive between Big Bend Boulevard and the western edge of Adams Park. <br /> D. The director of public works shall erect and maintain suitable signs giving notice that <br /> such through traffic is prohibited. <br /> E.
