Chapter 15.06 "Electrical Code" of Title 15 of the University City Municipal <br /> Code is hereby amended by repealing Chapter 15.06 thereof, and enacting in lieu <br /> thereof a new Chapter 15.06 "Electrical Code", which shall read as follows: <br /> Chapter 15.06 <br /> Electrical Code <br /> 15.06.010 - Adoption. <br /> Appendix K, Administration Provisions, of the International Building Code, 2012 Edition, <br /> as published by the International Code Council, Inc., one copy which was on file in the <br /> office of the City Clerk for a period of ninety (90) days prior to the adoption of this <br /> chapter and available for public use, inspection and examination, and a copy of which is <br /> attached hereto and incorporated by this reference as if fully set forth herein, is hereby <br /> adopted as the Electrical Code of the City of University City, Missouri, subject to the <br /> amendments, additions, insertions, deletions and changes set out in Section 15.06.020 <br /> of this chapter. <br /> 15.06.020 - Additions, insertions, deletions and amendments. <br /> The following numbered sections and subsections of Appendix K of the International <br /> Building Code, 2012 Edition, as published by the International Code Council, Inc., are <br /> hereby amended by additions, insertions, deletions and changes so that such sections <br /> and subsections shall read as follows: <br /> (APPENDIX K ADMINISTRATIVE PROVISIONS) <br /> (SECTION K101 GENERAL) <br /> K101.1 Purpose. The purpose of this code is to establish minimum requirements to <br /> safeguard public health, safety and general welfare by regulating and controlling the <br /> design, construction, installation, quality of materials, location, operation and <br /> maintenance or use of electrical systems and equipment. These regulations shall be <br /> known as the Electrical Code of the City of University City, Missouri, referred to <br /> hereinafter as "this Code". <br /> K101.3 Scope. This Code shall regulate the design, construction, installation, alteration, <br /> repairs, relocation, replacement, addition to, use or maintenance of electrical systems <br /> and equipment in all occupancies not regulated by the Residential Code of University <br /> City. <br /> 2 <br />
