LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF g UNIVERSITY CITY, EAST OF SUTTER AVE., WEST OF EAST PARK INDUSTRIAL DRIVE, AND EXTENDING NORTHWARD 237.5 FEET FROM MAPLE AVE., BUT RESERVING ANY PUBLIC EASEMENTS, AND DIRECTING THAT THIS ORDINANCE BE RECORDED IN THE OFFICE OF THE RECORDER OF DEEDS OF ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MISSOURI. E. WHEREAS,the City Council desires to amend Ordinance No. 6539 by correcting the legal description of the vacated right-of-way as follows. I: WHEREAS, a public hearing was held in the Council Chamber at City Hall on April 11, 2005 and all comments concerning the vacation of the portion of said street right-of-way were duly heard and considered by City Council. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The portion of hereinafter described right-of-way and all of the City of University City's rights, title and interest therein is hereby vacated, surrendered and quit claimed, but reserving all public utility easements; said right-of-way is more specifically described as follows: A parcel of land in Block 9 of Delmar Avenue Addition, a subdivision in St. Louis County, Missouri, according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 4, page 79 of the St. Louis 1 County Records, being the same right-of-way area described in the City of University City g ordinance#6539 vacating said right-of-way, and described as follows: Beginning at a point being the southeast corner of Lot 58 in Block 9 of the Delmar Avenue Addition, a subdivision located within the City of University City and recorded in Plat Book 4, Page 79 of the records of the Recorder of Deeds of St. Louis County, Missouri; then going 237.5 feet northwardly along a line bearing north 0 degrees 37 minutes 15 seconds East to a I' point; thence going 40 feet eastwardly along a line bearing South 88 degrees, 49 minutes 45 seconds East to a point; thence going 237.5 feet southwardly along a line bearing South 0 degrees 37 minutes, 15 seconds West to a point; this point is the southwest corner of Lot 1 in Block 8 of the Delmar Avenue Addition subdivision recorded in Plat Book 4, page 79 of the f n, records of the Recorder of Deeds of St. Louis County, Missouri; thence going 40 feet westwardly along a line bearing North 88 degrees, 49 minutes, 45 seconds West to the point of beginning. i Section 2.
