LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF g <br /> UNIVERSITY CITY, EAST OF SUTTER AVE., WEST OF EAST PARK <br /> INDUSTRIAL DRIVE, AND EXTENDING NORTHWARD 237.5 FEET FROM <br /> MAPLE AVE., BUT RESERVING ANY PUBLIC EASEMENTS, AND <br /> DIRECTING THAT THIS ORDINANCE BE RECORDED IN THE OFFICE OF <br /> THE RECORDER OF DEEDS OF ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MISSOURI. <br /> E. <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council desires to amend Ordinance No. 6539 by correcting the legal <br /> description of the vacated right-of-way as follows. <br /> I: <br /> WHEREAS, a public hearing was held in the Council Chamber at City Hall on April 11, 2005 and all <br /> comments concerning the vacation of the portion of said street right-of-way were duly heard and considered by <br /> City Council. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. The portion of hereinafter described right-of-way and all of the City of University City's <br /> rights, title and interest therein is hereby vacated, surrendered and quit claimed, but reserving all public utility <br /> easements; said right-of-way is more specifically described as follows: <br /> A parcel of land in Block 9 of Delmar Avenue Addition, a subdivision in St. Louis County, <br /> Missouri, according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 4, page 79 of the St. Louis <br /> 1 <br /> County Records, being the same right-of-way area described in the City of University City g <br /> ordinance#6539 vacating said right-of-way, and described as follows: <br /> Beginning at a point being the southeast corner of Lot 58 in Block 9 of the Delmar Avenue <br /> Addition, a subdivision located within the City of University City and recorded in Plat Book <br /> 4, Page 79 of the records of the Recorder of Deeds of St. Louis County, Missouri; then going <br /> 237.5 feet northwardly along a line bearing north 0 degrees 37 minutes 15 seconds East to a I' <br /> point; thence going 40 feet eastwardly along a line bearing South 88 degrees, 49 minutes 45 <br /> seconds East to a point; thence going 237.5 feet southwardly along a line bearing South 0 <br /> degrees 37 minutes, 15 seconds West to a point; this point is the southwest corner of Lot 1 in <br /> Block 8 of the Delmar Avenue Addition subdivision recorded in Plat Book 4, page 79 of the f <br /> n, <br /> records of the Recorder of Deeds of St. Louis County, Missouri; thence going 40 feet <br /> westwardly along a line bearing North 88 degrees, 49 minutes, 45 seconds West to the point of <br /> beginning. <br /> i <br /> Section 2.
