INTRODUCED BY Ms. Carr DATE: October 28, 2013 BILL NO 9211 ORDINANCE NO 6942 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING VARIOUS SECTIONS OF CHAPTER 10, VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC, TO REVISE VARIOUS TRAFFIC REGULATIONS AS PROVIDED HEREIN fi BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE City of University City, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Sections 10.36.100, 10.44.010, 10.44.020 and 10.44.040 of Chapter 10, Vehicles and Traffic, of the University City Municipal Code are amended as provided herein. Language to be deleted from the Code is represented as stricken ; language to be added to the Code is emphasized. This Ordinance contemplates no revisions to the Code other than those so designated; any language or provisions from the Code omitted from this Ordinance is represented by an ellipsis and remains in full force and effect. Section 2. Section 10.36.100 of the University City Municipal Code is hereby amended to add a Pretimed traffic signal at the Delmar Blvd and Delcrest Drive intersection, as follows: 10.36.100 - Traffic-control signals. It is unlawful for the operator of a motor vehicle to operate his or her vehicle in violation of the traffic-control signal legend, within the meaning of Section 10.08.050, at the designated places hereinafter set forth. A. Pretimed Signals. It is unlawful for the operator of a vehicle to operate his or her vehicle in violation of the legend for the following pre-timed signals: Delmar Boulevard and Delcrest Drive B. Pedestrian Signals. It is unlawful for the operator of a vehicle to operate his or her vehicle in violation of the legend for the following pedestrian signals: * * * Section 3. Section 10.44.010 of the University City Municipal Code is hereby amended by adding and deleting certain parking restrictions on Delmar Blvd and Delcrest Drive at all times, as follows: 10.44.010 - Parking prohibited on certain streets at all times.
