INTRODUCED BY: Mr. Glickert DATE: October 28, 2013 BILL NO. 9212 ORDINANCE NO. 6943 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING A SECTION OF CHAPTER 10, VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC, TO REVISE TRAFFIC REGULATIONS AS PROVIDED HEREIN BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE City of University City, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 10.20.050 of Chapter 10, Vehicles and Traffic, of the University City Municipal Code are amended as provided herein. Language to be deleted from the Code is represented as stricken . Language to be added to the Code is emphasized. This Ordinance contemplates no revisions to the Code other than those so designated; any language or provisions from the Code omitted from this Ordinance is represented by an ellipsis and remains in full force and effect. Section 2. Section 10.20.050 of the University City Municipal Code is hereby amended to eliminate a section of Old Bonhomme Road from Delmar Blvd to South City Limits from the Thirty (30) mile per hour limit on certain secondary thoroughfares, as follows: 10.20.050 - Thirty (30) mile per hour limit on certain secondary thoroughfares. On the following designated secondary thoroughfares, the maximum rate of speed shall be thirty (30) miles per hour: } Canton Avenue From Waldron Avenue to Hanley Road From North and South Boulevard to Eighty- Second Boulevard Eighty-Second Boulevard From Olive Boulevard to north city limits Etzel Avenue From Olive Boulevard to east city limits at Sutter Avenue Ferguson Avenue From Vernon Avenue to north city limits Groby Road From Old Bonhomme Road to Shaftesbury Avenue Kingsland Avenue From Delmar Boulevard to Olive Boulevard Maple Avenue From Sutter Avenue to Hayes Avenue Old Bonhomme Road From the west city limits (west of Lepere Street) to south city limits Delmar Blvd Sutter Avenue From Olive Boulevard to 100 feet north of the north line of Bartmer Avenue; western half of Sutter Avenue, only, from 100 feet north of the north line of Bartmer Avenue to Julian Avenue Page 1 of 2
