INTRODUCED BY: Mr. Sharpe DATE: March 24, 2014 <br /> BILL NO. 9225 ORDINANCE NO.6955 <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A FINAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR <br /> PROPOSED RENOVATIONS TO CROWN CENTER FOR SENIOR <br /> LIVING LOCATED AT 8348-8350 DELCREST DRIVE IN THE PD-M <br /> PLANNED DEVELOPMENT MIXED-USE ZONING DISTRICT. <br /> WHEREAS, the Preliminary Development Plan was approved by the City Council of <br /> University City on January 13, 2014 for a mixed-use development project known as "Crown <br /> Center for Senior Living" located at 8348 and 8350 Delcrest Drive in the PD-M Planned <br /> Development Mixed-Use Zoning District in the City of University City, authorizing the <br /> submittal of a Final Development Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, on February 13, 2014, Tim Vohsen with Council Apartments, submitted for <br /> review and approval a Final Development Plan in the PD-M Planned Development Mixed-Use <br /> Zoning District; and <br /> WHEREAS, the submittal of a Final Development Plan within the PD-M Planned <br /> Development Mixed-Use Zoning District requires the information described in Section 34- <br /> 40.16.1 "Final Development Plan Submittal Requirements" of the University City Municipal <br /> Code; and <br /> WHEREAS, the review and approval of a Final Development Plan shall be in accordance <br /> with Section 34-40.16 "Final Development Plan Procedure" of the University City Municipal <br /> Code; and <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting on February 26, 2014, the University City Plan Commission <br /> reviewed and determined that the Final Development Plan is in compliance with the Preliminary <br /> Development Plan approved by City Council on January 13, 2014 and the University City <br /> Municipal Code, and recommended to the City Council of University City approval of the Final <br /> Development Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Final Development Plan application, including all required documents <br /> and information submitted therewith, is before the City Council for its consideration. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. Attached, marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof, is a Final <br /> Development Plan submitted for the "Crown Center for Senior Living." <br /> Section 2.
