Session 1793 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />September 25, 2000 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Council Chambers of <br />City Hall on Monday, September 25, 2000, Mayor Pro Tem Paul Schoomer called the <br />meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor Pro Tem, the following members of <br />the Council were present: <br /> Ms. Cassandra Colquirt <br /> Mr. Wayne Munkel <br /> Mr. Robert G. Wagner <br /> Mr. Larry Lieberman <br /> Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />EXCUSED: Mayor Joseph L. Adams. Also present was City Manager Frank Ollendorff. <br /> <br />MINUTES: <br /> <br />Mr. Lieberman moved an amendment in the September 11, 2000 Council meeting <br />minutes. On Page 8, paragraph 6, a sentence should be added which states Mr. <br />Ollendorff's agreement to notify MSD about the Mendell problem. Mr. Wagner seconded <br />the amendment, which carried unanimously. Mr. Lieberman moved approval of the <br />September 11, 2000 meeting minutes, as amended. Mr. Wagner seconded the motion, <br />which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS: <br /> <br />AGENDA #:1 - CONSENT CALENDAR (4 ITEMS): <br /> <br />#1 - Street & Sidewalk Repair Contracts: We have found additional locations where <br />sidewalk and curb and street repairs are needed and all are within budget allocations. Mr. <br />Ollendofff therefore requests increasing previously awarded contracts by the following <br />maximum amounts: <br /> <br />Sidewalk and Curb awarded to Bennish Construction Company increase by a <br />maximum $60,000. <br /> <br />Microsurfacing Project to Micro-Surfacing Inc. increase by an amount not to exceed <br />$35,000. <br /> <br />Sealcoat by Missouri Petroleum Co. increase by up to $35,000. <br /> <br /> <br />
