INTRODUCED BY: Mr. Glickert DATE: June 23, 2014 BILL NO. 9230 ORDINANCE NO. 6960 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SCHEDULE III OF THE TRAFFIC CODE, TO REVISE TRAFFIC REGULATION AS PROVIDED HEREIN. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Schedule III of the Traffic Code, of the University City Municipal Code is amended as provided herein. Language to be deleted from the Code is represented as sulk--trough; language to be added to the Code is emphasized. This Ordinance contemplates no revisions to the Code other than those so designated; any language or provisions from the Code omitted from this Ordinance is represented by an ellipsis and remains in full force and effect. Section 2. Schedule III of the University City Municipal Code is hereby amended to delete the south side of Loop North where the City has designated as prohibited parking on certain streets at all times, to be edited to the Traffic Code as the "Schedule" — Schedule III, as follows: Traffic Schedules Schedule III: Parking Restrictions Table III-E Parking Prohibited On Certain Streets At All Times The following streets or parts of streets are designated as places where the parking of vehicles is prohibited at all times: Loop North: North side thereof between Kingsland Avenue and Leland Avenue. Section 3. This ordinance shall not be construed so as to relieve any person, firm or corporation from any penalty heretofore incurred by the violation of the sections revised by this amendment nor bar the prosecution for any such violation. Section 4. Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be punished in accordance with the provisions of the University City Municipal Code. Page 1 of 2 3
