Session 1796 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />October 30, 2000 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Council Chambers of <br />City Hall on Monday, October 30, 2000, Mayor Joseph L. Adams called the meeting to <br />order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the following members of the Council were <br />present: <br /> Ms. Cassandra Colquirt <br /> Mr. Wayne Munkel <br /> Mr. Robert G. Wagner <br /> Mr. Larry Lieberman <br /> Mr. Paul Schoomer <br /> Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Also present was City Manager Frank Ollendorff. <br /> <br />MINUTES: <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval of the October 16, 2000 Council meeting minutes. Mr. <br />Munkel seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe moved approval of the October 21, 2000 study session minutes. Mr. <br />Schoomer seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENTS: <br /> <br />Mr. Lieberman moved the appointment of Nancy Sachar, 8044 Lafon, to the Historic <br />Preservation Commission for a term ending September 9, 2003. Mr. Wagner seconded the <br />motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Lieberman moved the appointment of James Schmalz, 6922 Kingsbury, to the Board <br />of Building Code Appeals for a term ending August 1, 2005. Mr. Wagner seconded the <br />motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />REMINDER TO VOTE: <br /> <br />Mayor Adams reminded the audience that it was everyone's civic duty as a citizen of a <br />democratic nation to vote. Everyone's vote in the upcoming election on November 7th is <br />very important. <br /> <br /> <br />
