Session 1797 <br />November 13, 2000 <br /> <br /> 8.12.145 COLLECTION OF LEAVES;" CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND <br /> PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br /> <br />The bill was given its first reading and assigned bill number 8499. <br /> <br />3. A bill was introduced by Ms. Colquitt, entitled: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10.44 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, <br />RELATING TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON SPECIFIC STREETS, BY <br />REPEALING SECTION 10.44.020, RELATING TO PARKING PROHIBITED ON <br />CERTAIN STREETS DURING DESIGNATED HOURS, AND ENACTING A NEW <br />SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS 'SECTION 10.44.020 PARKING PROHIBITED <br />ON CERTAIN STREETS DURING DESIGNATED HOURS," THEREBY <br />AMENDING THE SECTION TO PROHIBIT PARKING DURING DESIGNATED <br />HOURS ON WILLIAMS AVENUE FROM WESTMORELAND DRIVE TO <br />MILLBROOK BOULEVARD, CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND <br />PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br /> <br />The bill was given its first reading and assigned bill number 8500. <br /> <br />ACCUMULATION OF LEAVES SAFETY REPORT: <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer asked the City Manager to prepare a report detailing how many <br />spontaneous fires have been caused by accumulation of leaves as background for Bill <br />number 8499. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION: <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved that the Council meet in executive session at 8:02 p.m. in the <br />second floor conference room of City Hall to discuss legal matters and real estate <br />matters under chapter 610.021 (1 & 2). Mr. Munkel seconded the motion. AYES: Ms. <br />Colquitt, Mr. Munkel, Mr. Wagner, Mr. Lieberman, Mr. Schoomer, Mr. Sharpe and <br />Mayor Adams. NAYS: none. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br /> <br />Mayor Adams reminded everyone that the next regular meeting of the City Council <br />would be at 7:30 p.m. on November 27, 2000. The Mayor adjourned the meeting at <br />7:55 p.m. - - <br /> <br /> <br />
