VERSION 1

Council Agenda Item Cover

___________________________________________________________

MEETING DATE:
March19, 2007

AGENDA ITEM TITLE:
2007-08 Fees and Charges

AGENDA SECTION:
Consent

CAN THIS ITEM BE RESCHEDULED? :
Yes

BACKGROUND REVIEW:
At the February 27, 2007 Park Commission meeting the Park
Commission reviewed and unanimously approved the fee adjustments. Most of the
programs highlighted in blue were new for the current program session that began in
January. The softball leagues on page two have been in effect for a couple of years and
have not been included in the list by oversight. The fees highlighted in yellow are new
programs or programs with fee changes. Some are aquatic programs we will need to be
include in our summer Recreation Guide and some are program fee changes that will not
go into effect until next fiscal year. The guide will be delivered in May. As you will note
there are no changes proposed for golf but Ron Akin, our Golf Professional, has been
encouraged to offer specials which will increase our rounds played at Ruth Park Golf
Course. No changes are proposed at the Community Center or for Aquatics with the
exception of the introduction of some new programs.

RECOMMENDATION:
Approval

H-1-a
March 19, 2007
